Are you an Advanced Clinical Practitioner looking for a new challenge? We are the largest GP practice in the East Riding and are seeking an experienced ANP to join our multi-disciplinary team on either a full or part-time basis.

About the Role

To provide care for the presenting patient and demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within general practice. Diagnose and treat patients who present with minor ailments and minor injuries, supported by GPs, advanced nurse practitioners and other members of the nursing team. Attend urgent home visits. The advanced clinical practitioner will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients and support the delivery of policy and procedures. They will have the ability to prioritise and make any necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner and be flexible and responsive to patient needs.

About You

You will be an autonomous practitioner working independently and in conjunction with other members of our team. This is a key role within our team and you will manage acute presentations as part of our on-the-day service. As an expert clinical practitioner, you will be responsible for providing clinical assessments, working autonomously using high levels of decision making and clinical judgement in relation to patient care including the diagnosis and management of acute conditions.

You will have a relevant qualification at Masters level and be a registered prescriber.

Experience of working in primary care would be welcome but we are also interested in hearing from candidates with appropriate experience in other healthcare settings.
